To become a pharmacy assistant, one typically needs to have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete on-the-job training. Some states may also require pharmacy assistants to be certified, which can be obtained through a certification exam or completing a formal training program. Additionally, pharmacy assistants must be able to perform mathematical calculations accurately and have good customer service skills.
